When it comes to all things beauty, Paris Hilton is always ahead of the game. The businesswoman has successfully launched everything from her own skincare to makeup line, so it’s no surprise that she’s expanding her beauty empire. As of today and exclusively on Forbes, Hilton has officially been announced as the newest investor in the popular on demand beauty platform, The Glam App.
“I’ve been a client and using The Glam App for four years now,” she said in an interview surrounding her exciting business venture. The app was founded by celebrity makeup artist and hair stylist Joey Maalouf alongside his first partner and CEO Katrina Barton in 2015. Since then, its services have become available in 23 cities worldwide. “I think it’s the future of beauty services because just at the touch of a button, you can have an incredible hair, makeup, or nail stylist come to your front door and get you ready,” Hilton added. “It makes things so convenient and it’s literally like the Uber for beauty and right now, I’m obviously running a huge business, but a big priority of mine for the past year has been investing in companies that I believe in.”
Now that Hilton is on board, the brand has big plans for the future. This next chapter for the company will focus on artist collaborations along with more innovative and immersive experiential campaigns. In fact, The Glam App is introducing a new VVIP option, which includes longer appointment times at slightly higher price points with celebrity stylists. Maalouf also curated two limited edition looks known as the Hollywood that will make anyone look red carpet ready and the Paris, which is a customer’s chance to experience the Heiress’s signature beauty routine. The Glam App’s dream team is here and in addition to Hilton, Maalouf and Barton provided their insight in an exclusive Q&A below.
