‘Sun, Sand And This Fab View’

We chose the venue after falling in love with the incredible view. Tunnel Beaches had everything in one place – a relaxed vibe, beautiful sea views and amazing staff.

I knew from the outset that I wanted a wedding with a ‘clean’ neutral palette – for this I decided on ivory, lavender and blush. I wanted the scheme to look soft and whimsical against the amazing backdrop.

On the day, Danny organised for a 1966 VW camper van to pick me up and bring me to the ceremony. It was a lovely surprise as they’re a particular favourite of mine.

Instead of a traditional sit-down meal, we served food throughout the day. We started with canapés, followed by a barbecue and then an evening meal. We also had a vintage ice-cream cart that was very popular.

I found my amazing bridal dress on Pinterest! I was using the site to get some decor inspiration and there it was. Just a few weeks later I was later trying it on – I hadn’t even done the zip up fully before I knew that it was the dress for me.

My top tip: Give yourself plenty of time in order for you to plan properly. We had 18 months and enjoyed every bit of it!
